Revisited my old hometown in July. Sadly, it was for my younger sisters funeral. I did get a few extra days in the Kringle Capital of The World.
Decided to look at some houses where I could live with less cost. A photo is enclosed of a nice home on Hansen Ave. It is in a lower middle income area. The price is $65,000. Three bedrooms and 1,379 Square Feet. I would buy it with 0 down and 4% 30 year loan. My payments would be 291.88 monthly including interest and principal. Taxes there are double our taxes in Orange County. They start at 2% or $114.29 per month/. Total housing costs $406.17 a month. Just saying.
