Brokered Convention; Can It Happen Now? Wrote This In 2016. Could It Happen Again?

Delegate Requirements

A brokered convention is one where no one has the 1,237 delegates (Republican Party) to get the nomination on the first ballot. The nomination does not go to the person with the most delegates; you must have 50% plus one.

There has not been one since the 1952 Democratic Convention. There were 16 men who had delegates, but no one with the required number of 616. Estes Kefauver of Tennessee had 300.5. After three ballots and switches, Adlai Stevenson II reached the magic number. Problem was that he met Ike in the next round. He did come back again in 1956 and lost again.

Who cares what happens at the Crooked Democrats convention. They have become The Democrat Communist Party. We all need to support and vote for Our President Donald J Trump. The Greatest and most Accomplished President in American History. I Pray that President Trump keeps winning for America! God Bless America!

Thank you for taking the time to comment on my blog post and thank you also for renewing your license with DGE. I make no comments on religion, taxes, discrimination, politics, etc. anymore. People with red views and people with blue views all need real estate courses.

See you in your next class.
