I can commiserate with these beautiful young children and their mothers. My hearing is not what it was when I was in my 30’s teaching at UCLA.
Hearing loss is something that most people do not want to discuss. For years, the manufacturers were trying to make the aids more invisible. And today, they are remarkably small.
My comment in today’s world: if you find yourself straining to hear somebody, smiling when you didn’t hear a word, or cupping your hand over your ears, then you should consider some good hearing aids.
A good way to find the best hearing aids for you is to talk to people and research. For example, I have found that Jabra Enhancer Pro is best for me. And you should understand that nothing is going to get you back to your 30’s, but you will be much happier than you are now.
Duane’s New Toy. I bought the Jabra Multi-Mic. This is a small microphone that can be clipped to my wife’s blouse in a noisy situation, or I can put it on our table to hear better when we are with friends.
When should you buy hearing aids? The first time you ask this question. Hear life again.
